Five gift ideas to make the most of your photographs

If you’re looking for inspiration for photo related gifts for your loved ones - look no further...

I’ve put together this gift idea list - to help you create some ‘photography merchandise’ - as I love to call it, to gift your loved ones.

I really enjoyed researching these gifts and found lots of new products I hadn’t come across before.

please note: that I have ordered some of these products, but they are yet to arrive yet so I cannot attest to thier quality and I am not being paid to create this blog post.

1. Your picture etched into a pendent

This teeny tiny solid brass locket is super sweet and only 1cm in size and comes etched with two photos of your choice. As it’s so small I’m thinking of adding it to my daughters charm bracelet.

I also love this slightly larger sterling silver art deco inspired pendent, which again comes with your choice of pictures.

There are lots of options to choose from Shop: Silk Purse & Sow’s Ear Store

2. Personalised Prints

There is a reason why I include prints with all my main packages, as pictures were made to be printed, held and displayed.

I love these simple but classic photo montages (above) which come with a custom message of your choice. SHOP: Not on the HIGH Street

Also If you’ve had a shoot with me, I am also happy to help with printing and have a range of beautiful options to display or gift prints including beautiful deckled prints which come with a hand torn deckled edge and a range of wall art options. Just go to the shop in your gallery.

3. Turn your pictures into breathtaking artwork

This is at the top of my gift wish list (hint Hint if my other half is reading this!!) to turn some of my own motherhood pictures with my babys into artwork.

Laxmi Hussain - does just that taking commissions to create the most stunning paintings and drawings, as well as artwork available to buy now.

4. Photo projection bracelet

I love this idea and I’ve just ordered one for my mum and my daughter, so we can be matching.

the bracelet contains a miniature photograph and when you shine a light through it in a dark room, it can project the picture on the wall. You also customise it further with your birth stone - Etsy Store: ZK Luck Jewellery

5. This gift is not technically photo related…

but it could be if you sketched a photo to get printed on it.

Cornishware offer a 'Message in a Mug' and 'Picture on a Plate' service. To allow you to beautifully preserve a handwritten note inside a mug, or your child's drawing on a lunch plate. I think it would make such a gorgeous heirloom gift.

I hope you I’ve provided you with a little gift inspiration.

I’d love to hear what your own favourite photo gifts are too.
